Streetdance is a mixture of body popping, hip hop and traditional jazz which all originated in America 30 years ago. It consists of sharp, quick movements as well as sliding feet motion, body and arm waves, so this combined with cool music is the ingredient we use in your groups.
Streetdance has become a very popular style with top stars such as Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Missy Elliot.
There are also opportunities for young people to take part in training to become peer educators and
teach other young people to dance.Streetdance
workers are also available to deliver workshops
in partnership with other youth organisations, schools and businesses.
All dancers get the chance to show their talents to the public in the annual dance show, community events and the Terminal One AGM.

‘It's great when you do shows and everyone comes along to see you and starts cheerin'. Ashley (14)
